Points to Unlock
The Giant Moa is the second to last herbivore unlocked in Tokyo Jungle.
The giant moa (Dinornis) is an extinct ratite bird that lived about 40,000 years ago. There are nine different species of moa; which are the only wingless birds on earth lacking even a vestigial structure of wings. They were once the top grazer in the New Zealand and stood 3.6m (12 ft) tall.
Life as a Giant Moa
The Giant Moa is the second non-DLC Size 6 Grazer it is possible to unlock. The Giant Moa's Speed falls just short of the fastest animals in the game, but is still able to outrun most Predators and is the fastest Size 6 Grazer available. With lower Life than any other Size 6 Grazer, the Giant Moa is built more for flight, but it can still hold its own against all but the hardiest Predators, or large groups of foes. Overall the Giant Moa is one of the easier Size 6 Grazers to use at least until the larger, faster predators arrive.

Giant Moa as Prey
The Moa does not appear until late into the game, around the same time that the Deinonychus begin to appear, and are still an uncommon sight when they can spawn. The Giant Moa is a hardy grazer and should not be underestimated if engaged in combat. They prefer to flee though, and do so with great speed. It is recommended that the Moa be attacked with a pack if you are a smaller predator, and even to have a pack ready for larger predators to help keep it from fleeing. The Moa will ignore most of the smallest predators unless engaged in combat, where it will turn aggressive as the other grazers do against predators that are not likely to kill it.
